March 29, 2005 -
The Dark Chocolate M-Pire Launch Promotion in the middle of Times
Square in New York City - The X-Wing was set up smack dab
in the center of Times Square for this fantastic promotional stop
on its 2005 Tour. It was featured on Good Morning America, MTV
and was picked up on the wire service across the country. Special thanks
go out to our friends in the Rebel Legion's Echo Base for coming
out to add some color and to support Kevin for the event.

April 2005 -
The Sport Graphics,
Inc. warehouse on the outskirts of
Indianapolis to wait for the main event... Celebration
III!
"Here are the pictures of when
we stored the X-wing prior to Celebration 3. The X-Wing came to us from New York’s Times Square where it was displayed for the
M&M’s Mpire promotion. We held it for about a month or
so and then a local hauling company picked the X-wing up and took it down to the convention center. We had it for a week or so after
C3, until LFL decided they wanted it back in California for the
MTV premiere thing at the Ranch. It was a lot of fun having the
X-wing in our warehouse… It quickly became a plant tourist
attraction for customers & vendors." -Brian Hancock

April 21-24, 2005
- CELEBRATION III - To the delight of tens of
thousands of fans, the X-Wing took Center Stage in the Fan Hall
all weekend. And it's a good bet that any pictures you find from
that event will have at least one picture with the X-Wing. Our big day was
even better than any of us could have ever dreamed. You can tell
by the number of pictures we all took with the sign that stood
next to the bird all weekend.

May 6, 2005 -
Skywalker Ranch Premiere - Straight from its stellar
appearance at Celebration III, the X-Wing was able to go home to
the mothership, Skywalker Ranch, for its date with The Maker
Himself. It took a wonderful spot, right beside the shores of the Endor
Pond. It was also featured on MTV's Total Request Live from this
appearance.

May ?, 2005 -
Burger King Promotion, Las Vegas, NV - This time, the bird was suspended on the showroom floor of the ???. And, as with everything
in Vegas, it would appear that Mary Franklin was a little carried
away by this stop on the tour.

to this outstanding exhibit of the costumes and props of the Star

CURRENT STATUS
The 3/4 Scale LFL/WOTR X-Wing
Has Come Home to Roost! Wings Over the
Rockies, The Rocky Mountain FanForce,
The
501st's Mountain Garrison, The Rebel Legion's
Mountain Base, and the Rocky Mountain members of The R2
Builders are hard at work getting
the X-Wing ready for action in the former Lowry AFB Hangar where she
is receiving
some TLC and getting her ready for another fantastic showing at Star Wars
Celebration IV!
We all wish to thank everyone
who has worked so hard to keep the old girl on a smooth course for the last year. We would like to specifically thank the members of
Echo Base and the Hawbat Squadron, Brian Hancock, Damien Meitz,
and Shawn Crosby.
And very special thanks go out to
Mary
Franklin for helping to make all of
this possible.
But of course, none of this would have been possible
without The Maker, himself. Mr.
Lucas, you have inspired
our dreams for nearly three decades, and we hope to have many, many more
years of wonder and joy.
